Work has begun on our new roof — the fruit of months of preparation and the quiet, faithful generosity of this parish family. Fr. Álvaro shares the good news, a birthday reflection, and an invitation to renew your support for the Parish Maintenance Fund.
Dear Parishioners,
I am pleased to announce that work is underway on a new roof. This is the result of many months of study and preparation. It is becoming a reality thanks to recent significant donations, as well as the ongoing monthly donations to the parish maintenance fund. I consider this to be the best birthday present, and today, Sunday 23 August, is my birthday. At least three other parishioners are celebrating their birthdays today too. Most of them are younger than me! I think this gift is the best because it benefits the whole parish family, which is my goal as pastor and father to all. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to ask for your renewed commitment to donating to the Parish Maintenance Fund. This special collection takes place on the first Sunday of the month (the next one will be on 5 and 6 September).
We are planning more exciting renovations, including new restrooms in the narthex.

Ya comenzaron los trabajos de nuestro nuevo techo — fruto de meses de preparación y de la generosidad callada y fiel de esta familia parroquial. El P. Álvaro comparte la buena noticia, una reflexión de cumpleaños y una invitación a renovar su apoyo al Fondo de Mantenimiento Parroquial.
Queridos feligreses:
Me complace anunciar que ya se están realizando las obras para instalar un nuevo tejado. Este es el resultado de muchos meses de estudio y preparación. Se está haciendo realidad gracias a importantes donaciones recientes, así como a las donaciones mensuales que se siguen realizando al fondo de mantenimiento de la parroquia. Considero que este es el mejor regalo de cumpleaños, y precisamente hoy, domingo 23 de agosto. Al menos otros tres feligreses también celebran hoy su cumpleaños. ¡La mayoría de ellos son más jóvenes que yo! Creo que este regalo es el mejor porque beneficia a toda la familia parroquial, que es mi objetivo como párroco y padre de todos. Por eso, me gustaría aprovechar esta oportunidad para pedirles que renueven su compromiso de colaborar con el Fondo de Mantenimiento de la Parroquia. Esta colecta especial tiene lugar el primer domingo de cada mes (la próxima será los días 5 y 6 de septiembre).
Tenemos previstas más renovaciones interesantes, entre ellas nuevos aseos en el nártex.
