My vocation began in childhood where I learned the two greatest gifts that I had received: my faith and my family. My parents and siblings taught me from a young age how to live a concrete friendship with Christ in daily family life. My parents taught me to pray for my future vocation, and I understood that it could be one of two things: a father of a family or a priest.
I was amazed by the great gift that the Lord wanted to offer me in the family of the Disciples. With my Master of Novices’ wise guidance, I was able to recognize the Lord’s calling to take the next step and to commit myself to His heart through religious vows. These will serve as a visible sign of my unworthy yes to the great gift that the Lord has offered me to follow in Christ’s steps living a life of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
Br. Joe will make his first profession of vows at St. Mary (Littleton, CO) on July 3, 2021. Please pray for him and his brother novices that they may be faithful to their calling.
Llamado a comprometerme con su Corazón a través de votos religiosos

Mi vocación comenzó con una infancia donde aprendí los dos mayores dones que había recibido: mi fe y mi familia. Mis padres y hermanos me enseñaron desde muy joven cómo vivir una amistad concreta con Cristo en la vida familiar diaria. Mis padres me enseñaron a orar por mi futura vocación y com- prendí que podía ser una de dos cosas: un padre de familia o un sacerdote.
Me asombró el gran regalo que el Señor quería ofrecerme en la familia de los Discípulos. Con la sabia guía de mi Maestro de Novicios, pude reconocer el llamado del Señor para dar el siguiente paso y comprometerme con Su corazón a través de votos religiosos. Estos servirán como un signo visible de mi indigno sí al gran don que el Señor me ha ofrecido para seguir los pasos de Cristo viviendo una vida de pobreza, castidad y obediencia.
Br. Joe hará su primera profesión de votos en St. Mary (Littleton, CO) el 3 de julio de 2021. Ore por él y sus her- manos novicios para que sean fieles a su llamado.
